FAQs

What does a 100% donor organization mean?
A 100% donor organization passes on cent percent of donations received to the end cause. Organizational overhead expenses are either funded through separate private donations or through pooled contributions of members. This ensures maximum impact of your donation.

Additionally, in tying up with grass root NGOs, we ensure that EPICS' donation goes directly to fund the needs of the children covered by the program and not to fund the overhead expenses of these organizations.

How do I make EPICS a preferred charity in my company?
Most corporates have active CSR programs. By including EPICS in the list of preferred charities, a portion of the company's CSR budget as well as donations by employees can get channeled to EPICS sponsored programs.

We'll be happy to visit and make a presentation to your company.

How does EPICS choose the grassroot NGOs to associate with?
EPICS ties up with NGOs/SEs which are doing credible work for the welfare of underprivileged children in the fields of education and healthcare. Multiple meetings with the management of the Social Enterprise and NGOs are carried out before short listing and finalizing them as a partner.

High priority is given to transparency and accountability in choosing a partner apart from measurable impact at grass-root levels.

Does EPICS monitor its investments in its associated NGOs?
Regular monitoring of investments in associate NGOs/SEs are carried out by our team members.

A ring fenced structure of investment is used for major donors. This allows for transparent monitoring of the NGO e.g. we know who and how many children will be specifically covered by EPICS investment and their continuing progress and can tie it back to the donor.
