As individuals we are used to blaming the system, the bureaucrats and the government for their ineptness but honestly most of us aren't any different. The image of a one handed 8 year old boy struggling for survival in the muddy waters of a floating village somewhere deep inside South East Asia gave us the much required impetus. These were nobody's children and nobody was willing to acknowledge their existence and suffering. We had little choice but to accept the responsibility and save ourselves from the guilt of inaction. Hence we decided to launch a silent campaign.

We had very little experience of running a social enterprise but we were determined to follow our hearts and put our heads to chase what we had envisioned. Our personal dreams gave way to our collective ambition and we leveraged on every aspect of our professional skills to build this enterprise.

We believe that we have a responsibility towards the under privileged children and a personal stake in their upliftment. EPICS was born to serve this cause.

At EPICS, is primarily a fund raising and a validation entity that collaborates with individuals, universities and corporate for the benefit of social enterprises and community groups catering to children's education and health care.
